Happy Friday everyone! I am sorry that it has taken me a while to post about MBFW on the blog, but I needed a tad break after the exciting and crazy weekend that my BFF and photographer, Caro and I had. WHAT A GREAT WEEK IT WAS! I felt so blessed to be invited to all these fabulous and incredible events toast weekend, and that I get to share it with all of you. Here are some of the events and shows that I attended last Friday…
- MBFW Poko Pano Show at The Raleigh
Caro and I were DYING in the heat, but these Poko Pano fans and the goody bag helped to ease the pain and cooled us down.
- The Wildfox Couture show was A DREAM! I wanted each and every piece.
After the Wildfox show, we went through the tents by the pool and got Flash Tattoos (They were trending all over the runways), and sandals from Ipanema (So comfy and chic; and perfect for the beach).
The “We Are Handsome” Show was wild! (Literally, wild. Some models were holding a real snake walking down the runway!)
Here is Caro And I getting paparazzied while taking a selfie at the We Are Handsome Show! LOL Picture found here.
Click here for a picture that Caro found about my outfit on Zimbio! I was so happy. lol
Hope you all have a lovely weekend! Stay tuned for Fashion Week day 2 and 3. Love you all!

That’s right! Miami Fashion Swim week is here, and I am so excited! Miami Swim Week is the biggest fashion event in Miami of the year, and I feel so humbled and blessed that I get to be a part of it. I was asked to style my “Summer Story” for this years’ Escape Miami Style Lounge. Along with many other exciting happenings at the event including a poolside fashion show, complimentary cocktails and pop up shops, they will display a photo exhibit called “Our Summer Stories” photographed by Alexander Tamargo at the National Hotel. This was the summer look that I styled for the exhibit. I chose to theme my shoot around a vintage-inspired, 1940′s Miami style (think Magic City), and editorial glam. When I found this romper at Topshop, I just knew it was the perfect combination of elegance and style, with a flair of vintage summer. It’s perfect for a daytime lunch by the pool or a nighttime cocktail party at the beach. If you would like to attend the event, click on the link below to RSVP. It’s sure to a be fun time!
Keep up to date on all of the Swim week chaos by following my adventures on Instagram @justjackiee. Can’t wait to start sharing!

Brandy Melville Top, Zara Pants (ON SALE in-store), Zara Necklace (In-store) , Steve Madden shoes, Lips: MAC “Chatterbox”
Happy Friday!! These Palm Tree pants are SO “Miami!” Sometimes it’s fun to have something in your closet that is almost “stereotypical” of your city. Like a California bear top if from LA, or a “I Heart NY” Tee in New York. These pants remind me of my city every time I wear them, even if I’m on vacation in another state. Plus, they are the perfect piece to throw on for a summer pool party or BBQ! Hope you all have a beautiful and safe weekend. For all my local “Miamians,” let’s pray for some sunshine and try to stay dry!

Farmers markets are a fun way to spend your summer afternoon in. One of my favorites is the Wayside Market in Miami. They actually have a permanent location so you don’t have to wait till Tuesdays or Saturdays to get your fresh and local favorites. I always love to stop by and pick up their famously delicious milkshakes, or a popsicle (or snow cone) on a hot day. For famers markets, I always love to dress comfortable, casual, yet chic. This A&F Maxi skirt with a crop top is the perfect combination of cool and elegant without looking like you’re trying to hard. Plus, its light-weight material is great for this hot and humid Miami weather. Add some gladiator sandals and you have an effortless summer look for the books!
Hope you all are having a great week! Mercedes Benz Fashion Swim Week is coming up next week! Stay tuned for some exciting fashion and projects that I can’t wait to share with you all.

BCBG Top ( ON SALE), Abercrombie and Fitch Jeans, Sam Edelman Sandals, J.Crew Arm Party, Michael Kors Watch, Dior Nails, Lips: Chanel Rouge Allure #8, Ray Ban Sunnies
Happy Fourth of July everyone! My go-to July 4th outfit always consists of stripes, ripped blue jeans and of course, red, white and blue. I found this top at BCBG on SUPER sale last weekend and knew I could pair it with either jeans for a casual BBQ or navy leggings with some wedges for a more dressed-up look for a dinner and fireworks. Hope you all have a beautiful day filled with sparklers, watermelon, flags and delicious American food surrounded by the people that you love!

Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful and fun-filled weekend! Like most of my summer weekends, mine was filled with ice cream for dessert. Sometimes its not enough to just indulge in your favorite summer treat, but also wear it! There is something about swirly vanilla ice cream cones that make me want to smile (especially when rainbow sprinkles are involved). I also love a great summer color combo like this one: peach, white and gold. Whether you have blonde, brunette, dark or light hair, fair or dark skinned, this color combination looks great on everyone! Try it this week and you will see what I mean.
Funny Story about this shoot: So, as you all may know, my photographer Caro is also one of my BFF’s. When we have photo shoots, the most funny, random and awkward things happen to us. While we were shooting this outfit, we had to obviously buy an ice-cream cone. When I walked into the parlor at 11 am with my ice-cream sweater, the man was so utterly confused. He was probably thinking 1) Why is this girl getting ice-cream at 11 am and 2) Why is she wearing them on her shirt. Then we had to run and shoot the pictures while my ice cream was melting and spilling everywhere! Have you ever tried eating ice cream on a hot summer day in Miami? It’s a mission and you must be an expert fast ice-cream eater. Finally towards the end of the shoot, I dropped the cone on the bench and the people around me thought I was nuts. This is just a small dose of the things we do to get great shots for this blog.

It’s officially Summertime! That means it’s a time for short shorts, bikinis, cute coverups and pool parties! I found this donut float in Urban Outfitters last week and just had to have it! I mean, how much more fun and fabulous would your tanning sessions or pool parties be with a giant donut float? The fun is endless! Hope you all have a beautiful weekend. Stay tuned to see where I will be going on my first Summer adventure!

Happy Friday Everyone! Iced Tea is one of my favorite things in the world. No matter what the season, I am a sucker for a delicious iced tea recipe! It just so happens that June is National Iced Tea month. So, this is the perfect excuse to share my recipe for strawberry iced tea! I am so lucky to be teaming up with West Elm Dadeland to bring you a beautiful shoot filled with all of their products to make the perfect Iced Tea Bar this summer. Living in Miami, we know how gruesome the heat can be, so try this recipe out for your next BBQ, pool party, or just a nice weekend refresher to cool you off.
Let’s get started!
- 1 Liter of Brewed Tea
- 2 Cups of Frozen Strawberries
- 1/3 Cup of White Sugar
- 1/4 Cup of Freshly Squeezed Lemonade
- Mint Leaves
- Fresh Strawberries
Brew 1 liter of black tea (make hot, then let cool).
Then add the frozen strawberries, lemon juice and sugar. Let Tea diffuse for about an hour.
Then add the mint leaves, fresh strawberries and lemon garnish.
Serve over ice, add an adorable paper straw, and Voila! You have a delish and refreshing strawberry iced tea!
William Sonoma Iced Tea, Anthropologie Apron (c/o Caro), All Accessories, cups, and utensil are courtesy of West Elm Dadeland.
Want to try out the iced tea for yourself, snag a printed recipe card and shop all the beautiful details? Visit West Elm Dadeland tomorrow (Saturday, June 21), and they will be serving the iced tea along with my recipe cards to celebrate the first day of summer!
Have a beautiful weekend!

If you haven’t figured it out by now through Instagram, it’s peony season! Peonies are my favorite flowers. They remind me of fluffy cotton candy candy sticks and smell absolutely delicious. I’ve been hoarding them because they are only in season twice a year, so you better grab some while you can!
Today’s outfit is casual for a day of picking up fresh flowers and lunching with Caro at one of my favorite spots in Miami, Peacock Garden Cafe. Think of having lunch in a whimsical garden, sipping basil lemonade or berry mimosas out of mason jars, while listening to Frank Sinatra; that’s Peacock Garden Cafe! Hope you all have a beautiful weekend! Thanks for stopping by.

H&M Dress (c/o), Zara Necklace (similar here), Steve Madden Shoes, Nails: Essie “Camera,” Lips: YSL Rouge Pur Couture #26, Michael Kors Watch
Happy first birthday to Dash of Panache! I cannot believe that it has officially been a year since I started my blog. I want to sincerely thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for reading, following, encouraging and supporting me through my blogging journey. I need to thank one of my favorite people in my life for being such a vital key to the operation of this blog: To my best friend and photographer Caro Padron, THANK YOU! I don’t think I could have started this without you! Thank you for all of your time and hard work, and for making your BFF’s visions become realities. Love you more than Skinny Vanilla Lattes at Starbucks (and that is A LOT!). And, of course, my mom and (flips third index card over) … I’m just kidding. I will not make this an overwhelmingly long Oscar speech. (No, but really, thanks mom.)
OK, sorry for all of the mushiness, but it had to be said! Back to the fashion! I (along with 18 other bloggers) found this dress at the grand opening of the H&M store in the International Mall last week! No matter what the body type, it fit like a glove on every blogger. It was quite magical. Like the “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants,” but a dress. The colors are perfect for Spring, and I am in love with how it cuts at the bottom (like a zig-zag type of a high-low dress).
Love you all!
